Immersive experiences such as VR and AR are no longer new to most museums - but do we fully take in what impact technology can have on how we run our museums? Welcome to this conference seeking to highlight how digital tools and new technology can enrich more than visitors experiences in museums and cultural heritage.
The Nordic VR Forum is a VR/AR/XR conference and workshop, taking place in Hamar every year.
At the Nordic VR Forum, everything revolves around immersive learning technologies: More precisely, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) and their use of it within health care, learning, training, gaming, city planning, metaverse, web3, and storytelling - and from this year: Museum and Cultural Heritage.
Day 1 (Museum Day): dedicated exclusive to topics related to museum, cultural heritage & XR.
