The new Center of History which opens on May 28, 2026, is facilitated for persons with motional or visual challenges.
The Glass Cathedral and the Herb Garden are partially facilitated for disabled persons. For the Herb Garden, please ask the guide for an alternative entrance.
The Herb Garden also has a section for visually impaired and blind people.
In the Storhamar Barn there are ramps that allow some visiting in wheelchair, with walker or stroller. The access into the building may be difficult for some devices, though.

There will be a café in the new center of history where you can buy warm and cold bevereges, food and pastries.
You are allowed (and strongly adviced) to bring your own food and drink for a picnic in the park or by the Herb Garden.
NB! Disposal grills are not allowed in any part of the museum!
