The collection consists of about 5000 recipe books dating from 19th century till modern times, originating from almost all over the world. Great Norwegian names from the recipe book traditions like Henriette Schønberg Erken and Hanna Winsnes are of course represented, and we also have the entire private colletion of former TV-chef Ingrid Espelid Hovig.
The Recipe Book Collection is open only on selected Sundays during summer season and some weekends before Christmas. We may welcome small groups for requested visits out of opening hours. Please contact us for details.
